Stumbling Into Dance
Born with two severely lazy eyes, it was her forward-thinking optometrist who suggested to her parents that dance class might help correct her lack of hand-eye coordination. Not only did it turn out to be the perfect prescription for coordination, it also proved to be medicine for her soul. What followed were years of dance classes, community theater dance roles, stints as a choreographer, and ultimately a dance boutique of her own. After taking a break to raise her son, she’s once again rekindled her love of the dance and launched Tutu the Pointe.
